30A Morning Surf

Location was ideal!!! The house was directly across the street from the beach. The beach was beautiful with soft white sand and clear turquoise blue water. The pool was great and we loved the size. The house was great with room for everybody. The bathroom showers were beautiful. We loved the lake right behind us and enjoyed the kayak and paddleboard. We roasted marshmallows for s’more’s at the fire pit and had family night by the fire. We walked down to Stinky’s Fish Camp for a delicious dinner, drinks, and wonderful live music several nights. Some of us rode the bikes the 1 mile into town for breakfast. We enjoyed our family time, people were friendly and the drive down 30A was beautiful.

The location of the beautiful home was what drew us in and what absolutely made this a great experience! We had children of varying ages and the direct and easy access to the beach made it easy to go back and forth for naps, lunches, breaks. The home was gorgeous and having three levels allowed families private while still coming to a great vacation together!

What a great location and fantastic home. Girls trip and we all had our own rooms and bathrooms. Perfect gathering are on middle floor. Pool and hot tub were clean and ready to use! Right across public beach access and walking distance from coffee and other food. Was a great stay!

Our family, ranging in age from 8 to 91, found this VRBO location to be an absolute gem, perfect for a modern remake of 'The Big Chill'. The property offers an ideal balance of spaces for communal gatherings and quiet retreats. With its close proximity to the beach just across the street, our days were filled with sun, sand, and sea. One of the highlights was the array of amenities provided. The inclusion of bikes allowed us to explore the surrounding area effortlessly, enjoying the ample bike and walking paths that weave through the scenic landscape. For those seeking relaxation, the property boasts both a pool and a hot tub, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure or just for enjoying a lazy afternoon. The house itself catered perfectly to our large family with its six bedrooms and six bathrooms, ensuring that everyone had their own private space. This layout was particularly appreciated, as it allowed for both togetherness and privacy, catering to all ages and preferences within our group. A memorable moment was gathering around the firepit for a shrimp cocktail, sharing stories and laughter under the stars. This experience epitomized the warmth and comfort the property offered us. Spending the week between Christmas and New Year's here was a fantastic experience. Being new to Route 30A, we were pleasantly surprised by the charm and variety of the area. It offered us a blend of relaxation and exploration-Our hosts were fantastic and responsive!

Can't say enough good things about this property. We loved, loved it. It's the perfect location to enjoy the beach or the private lakeside sitting area behind the house. With balconies on the 2nd and 3rd floor, it was perfect for starting the day or winding it down. The convenience of walking across the street to the beach was a big plus. The 3rd floor Master suite is fantastic! You really couldn't ask for more. Our family has already determined this will be our annual Destin area vacation home.

We had a wonderful time and the location was right across the street from the beach! There are ocean views from the 2nd and 3rd floors with good space for 5 couples. On our first night I texted Kim that the spa wasn’t working. She got back with me within 3 minutes that someone would be over first thing the next morning to fix it. We did’t have any other problems during our stay. We will definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay. Having the ocean front right across the street along with The pool made for a very relaxing stay. All the beds were super comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. And the views and location were exceptional.

We had a fabulous time at this property! There was something for everyone. We LOVED the proximity to the beach and the private pool and the older kids enjoyed the lake behind and went fishing daily. We also loved the fire pit. Everything about this vacation was amazing. We had an issue with the AC and the pool pump while we were there and they were both handled immediately. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great location -- Just what we needed - right on a lake for our avid kayakers, private pool to relax in and just across the street from the beach ! made everyone Happy! The home was very comfortable for our family, felt like home. Had everything we needed !

We will repeat what many others have said. The location is fabulous. Because the house is across from a parking lot, you don't have other houses blocking view. Very easy walk to beach! House is very well stocked, including beach items. Pool is bigger than appears in photos. Andy & Kim were VERY easy to communicate with and super responsive. House fit our needs wonderfully with bath in every bedroom. A couple of the bedrooms were bigger and could accommodate pack N plays. Kitchen and great room are on midlevel, which was nice. Great room was smaller than we wish, but ok. The firepit is nice and large. There is an extra frig in the laundry room upstairs. Very wonderful house. We will definitely keep it on our radar for future Florida beach weeks.

Check in was very simple and the property is very well kept. We walked right across to the beach and the kids really enjoyed the kayak and paddleboard. Location is perfect .

We had the best time in your beautiful home. It was perfectly located to the beach access and had an awesome view of the water! The boys enjoyed kayaking and fishing on the lake. The pool and hot tub were a hit after long days on the beach. It fit our party of 16 perfectly.

We had an awesome stay! The layout of the house was just what we needed for our family vacation. We we’re able to put all kids on one floor, mother in law (the cook) on the middle floor closest to kitchen and adults on the 3rd floor. The house was perfect for all ages, equipped with high chair for toddlers and an elevator for adults.

We absolutely loved our stay at 30A Morning Surf. The location was directly across the beach access, the house was spotless and very comfortable. We loved that every bedroom had it’s own bathroom. The hosts were highly responsive and kind. Don’t hesitate to book this property, you won’t be disappointed!

Our family and friends had a great winter break from the NY winter. The house is beautiful, very comfy and located in a perfect location. The pool was nicely heated and we enjoyed it all week after a nice bike ride or a day at the beach. As we relaxed in the pool the bald eagle flew over a couple of times. One thing I didn’t plan for was the ability to fish from shore. Next year will bring gear to fish from the beach. It is very convenient to just walk a few steps across the road to access the beach. We really enjoyed being right on the bike path and could either go right and ride down to the Top Sail nature preserve, or go left and ride down to eateries and shops. We have already begun making plans for next year! We had a great time. The views from the house wash away all the winter blues.
